Who are we looking for?

Handmade Business Blog is here to support and inspire creative people living in the UK. We are looking for creative business owners, designers, crafters or makers who would like to share their story with us.

What we expect:

  • Unique content purposefully written for Handmade Business Blog (It can’t be published anywhere else or copied from other websites or blogs)
  • Word count – minimum 300 words, ideally about 500-800 words
  • If supplying pictures, these must be of a good quality, with no watermarks or logos (we can source and add pictures for blog posts that are more general)
  • Easy to read writing style with shorter sentences and always proof red
  • Short author bio with website and social media links to be included at the end of your blog post

What can you expect:

  • Each blog post is optimised for search engines (either you tell us your preferred keywords or we match the keywords to the content of your blog post)
  • Share buttons are included for easy share on social media
  • Each blog post includes short author bio with your website links and social media
  • Promotion of your blog post on our social media and newsletter on regular basis (not just when published)
  • Extra benefits based on the level of your contribution (Handmade Business Listing, Handmade Business Club)
  • Blog writing support

How does it work?

  1. Contact us using the form below & let us know what would you like to write about (below are examples of types of blogs we are after)
  2. Once written, submit your blog post by e-mail with any relevant photos, author bio & website or social media links
  3. We will slot your blog into our publishing schedule and let you know (via social media) when the blog post is live.
  4. We will then continue promoting the blog post on a regular basis on our social media & newsletter.

Note:

There is no publishing deadline, we are happy to receive blog post on a rolling basis and slot them into our publishing schedule.

There is no limit to how many blog post you can write
