We are here to support UK based artisans, designers and makers – simply everyone who has a creative business. Whether you are just starting out or have a more established business, you are very welcome to join us.

Since this is our first ever post, the link will be open for the whole week, just to give everyone a chance to get involved and catch up with all the wonderful blogs.
So, where did the idea for Handmade Business Blog Share come from?
Well, I can hardly claim, it’s completely original, since ‘Link Parties’ have been around for quite a while. But most craft or art ‘link parties’ tend to prefer completely non-promotional blog posts – tutorials, from behind the scenes or recipes. As we are all about supporting handmade business, we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to showcase their business and even share blog posts of more of a promotional or commercial nature.
But don’t get me wrong, if you post purely promotional blog posts on your blog (or here) you will have more difficulty in getting people commenting on your post and engaging with your audience. So, blog post about how you created your latest collection with pictures from behind the scenes and links to the finished product in your shop – perfect! Just a blog post with boring descriptions of your latest collection with links to your shop – probably not so good…
But enough of talking, lets get linking, commenting and sharing!
