Hi my name is Lydia Davies, I am Married with 3 wonderful children.

I love to read, listen to music and enjoy Family time and friends. I love to craft ,I started crafting at the age of 18yrs and fell in love with learning new things. I have self taught a lot of my crafts I really enjoy Polymer clay and crocheting. I like to needle felt and cross stitch and enjoying learning to knit. There are still loads I would like to learn.

When I started making different things I had people asking me where I brought them from? I then said that I made them and I had people offering to buy my things on a regular basis so Lydzcreations was born! I then opened an etsy store only problem is not a lot of my English friends had heard of it? then I came across this fantastic site so I decided to give it a good go. I always give credit to the designers and I never sell anything without their permission. I have my own designs to and I love to make things from pictures I see I hope you Like Lydscreations where we love to make gifts to make people happy.

I started sewing and drawing as a small child, designing and making patterns for clothes when I was a teenager and I then trained in various art and fashion studios.

In 1981 I started my own fine art and dress design practice in London, because people asked me to design and make for them: simple wear again wedding outfits,  hand embroidered silk wedding dresses, stage costumes, long and short evening dresses and just nice frocks to wear to work and then on to visit your grandma or see a play.

These were soon followed by hand made accessories, hand painted silks scarves and the development of hand cut stencils which I airbrushed for greetings card designs.  I scanned them and now print them onto fine art card.  Over the years I developed ranges of botanical, mixed media and digital art.  For sale as originals, giclée prints and cards. From time to time I exhibit in art shows.

The clothes are mostly hand sewn for individual customers, although I usually have a few for sale off the peg along with scarves, accessories, cards and prints.
